Patient Story – Divya

Hi, I am Divya, a mother of a 4-year-old child and a full-time homemaker.

People often say that God gives the toughest challenges to the strongest people. My journey began in January 2021, when I visited a nearby hospital after discovering a lump. It was one of the most difficult moments of my life, filled with fear and uncertainty.

That’s when I met Dr. Archit Pandit, who became a source of hope and confidence for me. During our very first consultation, he explained my condition with patience, reassured me that cancer is becoming increasingly common, and most importantly, gave me the courage to face the journey ahead.

From performing my surgery to guiding me through treatment, Dr. Archit was always there whenever we needed him—even during odd hours over the phone. Knowing that we were in safe hands gave my family and me immense strength throughout this difficult time.

The journey wasn’t easy. After my surgery, I underwent several challenging chemotherapy sessions. I still remember how Dr. Archit would visit the day-care unit during my treatment. His presence and encouraging words always brought a smile to our faces and renewed our confidence.

I would also like to thank the entire hospital staff, who were incredibly caring, compassionate, and supportive throughout my treatment.

Cancer treatment is a long and demanding journey, but there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Dr. Archit constantly motivated and counselled us whenever we felt anxious, helping us stay positive during every phase of treatment.

Instead of looking at cancer as a disease alone, I believe it should be seen as a challenging journey that can be overcome with willpower, determination, the support of family, an experienced doctor, and above all, God’s grace.

My last PET scan was done in December 2021, and thankfully the results were good. I continue to attend my regular follow-up appointments and pray for a healthy and happy life for everyone.
